...shall soon be over! And, the excitement is growing.
Life has been rough and a little bit hectic in recent past. 2013 saw many changes and little opportunity for creative endeavor. I attempted, but planning and preparing sometimes takes as long as creating. By the time I was ready to sit in front of the sewing machine, for one reason or another, the project would be moved to the back burner. Someday, I'll use all that fabric for a fabulous project, even if it wasn't the one I originally intended.
My latest creative endeavor is a new quilt : ) I'm in a new house with my new man, and he deserves to be all comfy and cozy under a beautiful new creation. I'll be writing a post detailing my fabric selections and the quilt pattern in short order (after I've set, prewashed and photographed all the fabrics). I doubt I'll go so far as doing a quilt along since this is my first creative blog.
However, I have an element that will remain a secret until the quilt is finished and presented. I might talk a little about it, but I will wait to post those pictures until my mister sees the end result. I don't want him to happen upon this blog and see my surprise element : ) I will do my best to document the process of the surprise in case I decide to make a tutorial, as I was unable to find any instructions.
